Who owns the source code and assets after my VR game is completed?
You own everything. The source code, 3D models, textures, animations, sound, design documents, and all rights to the final VR game belong to you after final payment. We do not keep any rights, claim any royalty, or reuse any part of your game.
This is written clearly in our contract. Once the project is complete and paid in full, we hand over the full Unity or Unreal project, all VR assets, the design document, and all build files. You can publish the game under your own developer account on Meta Quest Store, Steam VR, or PSVR 2. You can also switch studios or hire another team for updates.
The only things we do not own are third party tools (like plugins, stock assets, or licensed music) that come with their own licenses. We list these clearly so you know what is licensed separately.
