Nipin P N
Founder and CEO
Nipin P N founded NipsApp Game Studios in Trivandrum, Kerala, in 2010, at a time when independent game studios in India were rare. He started the company as a self-funded sole proprietorship and wrote the code for its first international title himself: Mowgly Run, a 2D runner built in Cocos2D and released in 2011 with designer Akshay Pawar, which went on to pass a million downloads.
Sixteen years on, he leads a studio of more than 200 people with offices in Trivandrum and Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, that has delivered over 3,000 projects for clients in more than 25 countries across mobile, VR, AR, PC and blockchain. A software engineer by trade and a Unity developer by habit, he still reviews the technical articles published on nipsapp.com before they go live, and he is the named founder behind the studio's 2025 TechBehemoths Global Excellence Award and its Summer 2026 Clutch Global Award for AR and VR development.
In 2026 he has steered the studio's immersive work towards AI-driven VR training for healthcare and industrial safety, on the principle he calls cold practice: nobody should face a serious failure for the first time in a real emergency.
