What is Palazzo Chronicles?
Palazzo Chronicles is a Unity match-3 restoration game built by NipsApp Game Studios. Players win puzzle levels to earn progress, repair the castle of Lunalba, choose décor for rooms and gardens, and follow a chapter-based mystery.
The story is set in Piedmont during the Risorgimento. Adelaide inherits her grandfather's castle, only to find it stripped and neglected. With help from the household, a knight and her cat Luna, she restores the estate while confronting Baron Enrico and discovering a family secret.
How does the game work?
Puzzle play and restoration are one connected progression system. A completed level moves the player closer to the next room, character moment or mystery clue.
Clear match-3 goals
Players swap themed pieces, make combinations, manage a move limit and complete each board's goals. Special pieces, cascades and boosters add variety.
Restore the estate
Level progress unlocks tasks to clean, repair and decorate palace rooms, the staircase, garden and other estate spaces. Players can select visual upgrade options.
Advance the story
Restoration opens conversations, cutscenes and chapters about Adelaide, her grandfather's legacy, Baron Enrico and the secret of Lunalba.
Gameplay, restoration and story screenshots
These landscape captures show the puzzle board, special effects, the restored palace, character dialogue and the game's wider progression hub.

A palace that changes with the player
The restoration design gives the player a visible before-and-after reward. Damaged, dusty rooms and garden areas become polished spaces with Italian-inspired floors, doors, furnishings, carpets, fountains and architectural details.
Decoration choices let players influence the look of selected objects and surfaces. Character portraits and dialogue are presented alongside the game scenes, so story moments feel connected to the estate being rebuilt.
The art system was prepared at high resolution for clear landscape views. Interface panels, icons and text were tuned to keep level goals, choices and dialogue readable over detailed scenes.
What features are included?
The current project combines its main restoration campaign with optional systems that reward continued puzzle play.
274 puzzle levels
The current level catalog contains 274 match-3 boards, including hard and super-hard levels with different goals and layouts.
Boosters and special pieces
Rockets, cannons, crowns, doves and tools help players handle crowded boards and difficult targets.
Castle restoration
Task-based upgrades reveal repaired interiors, furniture, floors, décor, gardens and exterior spaces as the story advances.
The Count's Favour and Luna
Win streaks can add starting gifts to the board. Luna the cat has treats, a bond level, moods and helpful starting effects.
The Palio and Royal Ledger
A timed Palio race adds a level-win goal against simulated rivals. The Royal Ledger offers a 30-tier seasonal reward track.
Portrait Gallery
Players collect 54 cards across six sets. Packs, duplicate stars and set rewards create another reason to keep progressing.
The Secret of Lunalba
Wins reveal clues that open five mystery chapters. Hard levels and Baron Enrico's sabotage add extra clue rewards.
Royal Court and Estate
The Royal Court groups features in one menu. NPC courtiers have weekly standings, while six estate plots can be restored for timed rewards.
Chapter-led presentation
Story scenes, dialogue portraits, task progress, room changes and rewards give the player a clear purpose beyond the next puzzle.
