Who owns the source code and full rights after my PC game is completed?
You own everything. Once the project is complete and final payment is made, all source code, art assets, audio files, and other deliverables transfer to you. NipsApp retains no ownership or rights to your game.
This is written into the contract before development starts. You get full rights to publish, update, sell, or licence the game however you want. You can take the code to another team for future work, list it on Steam or Epic Games Store, or build a sequel with no restrictions from us.
The only exception is third-party assets or middleware licensed under their own terms, such as engine licences from Unity or Unreal Engine. We flag these clearly during pre-production so there are no surprises at the end of the project.
See our PC game development FAQ for more questions.
