Who owns the source code, assets, and IP after the project is completed?
You own everything. The source code, art, 3D models, animations, sound, design documents, brand, and all IP rights to the final game belong to you after final payment. We do not keep any rights, claim royalties, or reuse any part of your game.
This is written clearly in our contract from day one. Once the project is complete and paid in full, we hand over the full source code, all asset files, design documents, and build packages. You can publish the game under your own developer account on any store, switch studios later, or hire another team for updates.
The only things we do not own are third party tools (like plugins or licensed music) that come with their own license terms. We list these clearly so you know what is licensed separately.
See our full cycle game development FAQ for more questions.
Want to see our IP terms?
We can send a sample contract with clear IP and handover clauses before you commit to anything.
